Dear MSC Skaters and Families;

The Markham Skating Club is pleased to announce our upcoming Annual Awards Banquet which is being held this year at the Rouge River Community Centre in Legacy. The evening will commence at 6:00pm on Saturday March 13th, 2010, and will end at 11:30pm. Attire is Semi-Formal.        

Events at the banquet will include:

    • Roast Hip of Beef au Jus with Horseradish & Mustards
    • Vegetable Lasagna
    • All Beef Lasagna al Forno
    • Roast Parisienne Potatoes
    • Seasonal Stir Fried Vegetables
    • Chicken Fingers with Mango Dip
    • Seasonal Tossed Salad with basil Vinaigrette
    • Caesar Salad with Croutons, Parmesan and Creamy Bacon Dressing
    • Assorted Breads and Butter
    • Chocolate Mousse Cake
    • Strawberry Shortcake
    • Coffee and Tea

  • And lots of fun!

Tickets are $35.00 for Adults and $20.00 for Children 12 & under. Children aged 2 & under are free. A Family package is available; 2 Adults and 2 Children aged 12 & under for only $100. Seating is limited, so buy your tickets early. Tables can accommodate anywhere up to 10 people. Table reservations can be made at a first-come, first-serve basis.

The MSC is also looking for volunteers to help get the evening under way. If you are interested, please contact MSC President, Sue Herdman. We hope to see you on this exciting evening!  This is a fun night out for the whole family!

** Please note that our Club Competition and Mini-Olympics will be taking place on the evening of Friday March 12th and during the day on Saturday March 13th.
