MSC Annual Awards Banquet- Saturday February 25

Dear MSC skaters, 

The Markham Skating Club is pleased to announce our upcoming Awards Banquet which is being held this year at the Rouge River Community Centre in Legacy. The evening will commence at 6:00pm on Saturday February 25th, and will end at 11:30pm

Attire is semi-formal. 

Events at the banquet will include:

  * Roast Hip of Beef au Jus with Horseradish & Mustards
  * Vegetable Lasagna
  * All Beef Lasagna al Forno
  * Roast Parisienne Potatoes
  * Seasonal Stir Fried Vegetbles
  * Chicken Fingers with Mango Dip
  * Seasonal Tossed Salad with basil Vinaigrette
  * Caesar Salad with Croutons, Parmesan and Creamy Bacon Dressing
  * Assorted Breads and Butter
  * Chocolate Mousse Cake
  * Strawberry Shortcake
  * Coffee and Tea
- Dance
- Awards
- Cash bar
- Fun activities for kids
- Door prizes
- And lots of fun!

Tickets are $30.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 10 and under. Children under the age of 3 are free. 
The MSC has started a new family plan; 2 adults and 2-3 children aged 10 and under for only $75 (regularly $80-$90). 

Seating is limited, so buy your tickets early. There can be 8 people to a table, and if you have 8 people you plan on sitting with, you can reserve a table. Tables can be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

The MSC is also looking for volunteers to help get the evening under way. If you are interested, please contact MSC president, Lerryn Pitcher, at 905-294-3957.

** Please note that our Club Competition and Mini-Olympics will be taking place on the evening of Friday February 24th and during the day on Saturday February 25th. There will be NO regular sessions on these days.
