At the recent Annual General Meeting and Awards for COS, our Michelle Britten was named the recipient of the 2006 Skate Canada Section Volunteer Coach Award.

According to Michelle, "What we as coaches get back from our profession far exceeds what we give. Whether seeing the light in a skater's eye upon accomplishing a new skill, or seeing the final result of months of work on an ice show, or fantastic skate of a student in a competition, this is what makes it all worth it! This kind of satisfaction never gets old!"
