Open Pre-Juvenile Tryout Information
Markham
Skating Club is pleased to continue its synchronized skating program with a
Pre-Juvenile level team this year.
This
team is for skaters from the Intermediate Level and up and is designed to
introduce and develop skaters’ skill base and technique in synchro holds and
maneuvers. The
focus will be on participation, fun and team work and for the first time this
introductory level team will have the opportunity to perform at various club
activities throughout the year, culminating with a part in Ice Show 2006!
Coaches
Mackenzie Shier and Michele Britten are looking forward to their roles as the
team’s leaders and both are excited about the idea of the skaters gaining
experience and confidence through fun exhibitions.
The
first tryout/practice begins on Friday, September 16, 2005; so all interested
participants are encouraged to register early, as there is a minimum of 15
skaters.
