Synchronized skating is an enjoyable, team and competitive experience. A

synchronized skating team skates in unison to music and competes in many

competitions during the season.

The "Elite Edge" Synchronized Skating Teams are a proud component of the

Markham Skating Club. Each season teams are formed dependant on the

number of skaters and their skill levels. They enter various competitions

throughout the COS (Central Ontario Region) and have on occasion traveled

out of our region to attend an events. Our Elite Edge teams have been

fortunate over the years to attend the Regional (Ontario) and National

championships at both the Competitive and Festival levels.

We currently offer a pre-juvenile synchro program. It is offered during

the fall/winter sessions on Fridays from 4:10-5:10 for a fee of $385. This

team has skated in several skating exhibitions, including the club’s

annual Skate With Santa party and Ice Show 2006 "Dreams of Fantasy".

Skaters must meet specific requirements and must be current Skate Canada

members in good standing. Requirements and tryout information will be

posted on this website when available.
