Coaches

A professional coach is an adult coach on staff at MSC and in charge of group lessons.

A private coach is one of the professionals with whom you have made individual arrangements. You will be billed separately for lessons given by your private coach and are responsible for paying these bills on a timely basis.

All the Markham Skating Club coaches are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) of the Coaching Association of Canada. There are three components to the training; theory, practical and technical. A coach who has their Level 1 has a good general knowledge base.

A listing of the professional staff can be found on the back cover of the registration guides.
